What you should know
Write for our audience: Our audience are tech B2B marketing professionals with experience in content marketing at mid and large organisations. We specialise in tech, so anything related to telecoms, FinTech, Blockchain etc will be a big plus. See here for a list of our sectors of specialisation.
Create a fresh article with relevant and actionable takeaways. Your article needs to be original and have not been published elsewhere.
Cite your sources. Check your facts and quotations. Cite the original sources (not the source that quoted the original source.)
Create an engaging introduction specific to your article.
Make it concrete. Give examples, screen shots, details, and metrics.
Avoid self-promotion in the article. Your author bio is the place to do that.
Include internal links. To increase your guest post’s chances of getting published, include 1-5 links to other posts on our blog. Make sure they are relevant.
Length. Make sure you cover your topic in depth. We would be looking for 1,000 words minimum
Follow general best practices for web writing. Concise sentences and brief paragraphs are what we want. We’re happy to send you a list of our content guidelines, do ask if you need.
How do I submit a post?
Do not submit full-length drafts, these will be ignored.
Please send us 1-3 topic ideas and a brief outline of what each would cover. The more specific these are to our audience the more likely we are to accept.
If we’re interested, we’ll get back to you. We may modify your title slightly, so we get it just right.
If you’re pitching to us for the first time, please include 2-3 relevant writing samples.
To ensure you’ve read our guidelines, please include the word “Dexter” in the subject line of your email.
If you’ve read these guidelines and are ready to go, submit your pitches to [email protected]
Thank you for your interest in writing for us. We’ve lovingly built up a bank of content that we believe is interesting and relevant for our audiences and your insights will enrich our offer. We will respond to you in a timely manner.
